Niko Home Control is evolving into MOTIV Building Control. MOTIV is a new brand for intelligent building automation. Built on the trusted foundation of Niko Home Control, MOTIV solutions are designed to make buildings work more naturally for the people inside them. MOTIV helps professionals create smarter, more comfortable buildings. With technology that works quietly in the background. All existing Niko Home Control solutions remain fully compatible with MOTIV. Over time, the full portfolio will move to the MOTIV brand. What is a basic action?

When do you use a basic action?

Creating a basic action is the easiest and fastest way to create an action between controls and devices. On the other hand, the behaviour of this type of action is always pre-defined. This means that you cannot add any additional functions. If you want to add greater intelligence to an action, you must use a routine.

What is the behaviour of a basic action and which controls and devices can be combined?
