What can you do with Cedel and Niko Home Control?
Bridge the distance with the Digital Meter (P1 port)
When the Digital Meter with a P1 port is positioned too far from the NHC installation, you can add a P1 cable extension to bridge this distance.
What do you need?
General requirements
You have a digital meter with a P1 port, which is compatible with Niko Home Control.
Niko requirements
Your Niko Home Control installation meets the following requirements:

It has either a connected controller II in combination with a wireless bridge or a wireless smart hub.

It is configured with the most recent programming software.
Cedel requirements
You meet the following requirements:

You have a P1 port extension kit, with a reach up to 100 m.

You have an additional UTP cable (Cat 5(e), Cat 6) to set up the connection.
